Well, my spring break is officially over. Here I am at work, working on my resume and reading gossip blogs working hard as usual. Bah humbug in this piece.

I weighed myself yesterday, fully bracing myself for a one-pound weight gain following my trip. Do you know I have actually lost four more pounds? I verified this on two different scales. This is fantastic. I am gonna be killing the game in a second. I've already dropped a dress size and a lot of my clothes are just too big nowadays. I'm still working out six days a week and my eating habits are better than they have been in years! And today, five of my co-workers commented on my weight loss.  read more »

So my dad Googled himself and found that some people had made some negative comments about him. He had a role in this movie, "The Spook Who Sat By The Door", where he played a young gang member who joins a Black militant group that launches an attack on the city of Chicago. Some ignorant folks who didn't understand the film, obviously, or who are too stupid to realize that there are Black folks who are pale skinned as Whites, had some nasty things to say about a "White" man playing the role. So 'member the other day when I mentioned that my beloved Baba had asked me about my (non-existent) love life? Well, he did it again. Twice more, to be exact. The first time, he suggested that whenever I get a raise (BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA) that I consider joining a real gym and leaving the YMCA. Why? So I could meet men.
