Actress Kim Fields gave birth to a 6 pound, 4 ounce baby boy that she and her fiance’, Christopher Morgan, named Sebastian Alexander Morgan. The baby was born Friday evening without complications and Kim had an exceptional delivery that lasted for all of two hours. This is the first child for both Kim and Christopher who have been engaged for several years and plan to wed this September.  read more »

Andrea Kelly saunters into the room with her stiletto boots clicking, her shoulder-length curls bouncing; she’s sparkling like the crystal hoops dangling from her ears. Despite her famous last name, few in the room know who she is. She’s used to that. Andrea has been ignored before, like in those posh stores near Chicago’s Gold Coast or in Los Angeles, where burly bouncers blocked her from crossing the velvet ropes—that is, until the gatekeeper found out who she was. Then it was “Oops.” Disbelief turned to immediate accommodation. And then came the apologies, “Sorry, Mrs. Kelly.” But mostly it’s, “I didn’t know he had a wife.”

You all remember Teairra Mari don’t you? She was the 17 year old sista Jay-Z signed to Def Jam just about the same time as Rihanna. Well we all know what became of Rihanna. But poor Teairra was dropped from Def Jam after releasing her first album and no one has seen or heard from the sista since- until now that is. Teairra, now 20, left a message on her MySpace Page letting fans know that new music from her would be forthcoming. The sista says her new CD should be available sometime in July with the first single hitting the airwaves in early May. The album boasts production from Polow da Don and Scott Storch with rumored guest appearances by Trina and Missy Elliott.

What madness have Beyonce and Shakira started? Rumor has it Jennifer Lopez’s upcoming English language album will have her performing a duet with Ciara. Apparently interracial female dancing is in as I can see no other reason why these two totally opposite performers would ever come together. Though both ladies are brilliant dancers, I can’t really see sparks flying between these two as their musical and dance styles are so totally different. Still, it would be interesting to see what type of song and video they would come up with. Whatever they do it would have to be spectacular as we know the comparisons to Beyonce and Shakira would be sure to follow.

Singer Olivia is not letting her dismissal from the G-Unit get her down as the blonde beauty is apparently in talks to start her own lingerie and fragrance line to be sold through Victoria Secret stores and catalogs. For those of you who are fans of her music you need not worry as she has started her own Production Company and is in the studio working on a new album with producers Rodney Jerkins and Ne-Yo. Rapper Eve made her first public appearance since being arrested for DUI at Radio One’s Summer Fest Concert over the weekend. The sista took to the stage and performed a medley of her hits as well as a few tracks from her upcoming album. After the concert Eve held a meet and greet where she spoke to the press and rubbed elbows with various radio personalities and programmers. As expected, Eve was very tight lipped about her arrest as well as the late night jail visit actor Sean Penn paid her. However, seeing as though she was photographed talking to Jamie Foster Brown, I’m sure it’s a safe bet to say that we will be reading the full story in an upcoming issue of Sister2Sister Magazine.
