Today’s random celebrity sightings post consists of some of my favorite brown sistas. From Janet Jackson to Melyssa Ford, we have Black Women from all walks of Hollywood life covered. First up however is Keyshia Cole who held her album release party last night. Keyshia is sporting a new shorter do that I really like and it reminds me quite a bit of Rihanna’s new shorter style. Hopefully both these ladies will usher in a less in more look for celebrity sistas when it come to their hair.

The BET Awards are scheduled to air tomorrow night and of course that means lots of pre Awards parties have been happening over the last few days. One of those parties, hosted by Kevin Liles, attracted a slew of beautiful brown Brown Sistas, including Elise Neal, Shaun Robinson and Melyssa Ford.

As another week comes to a close here on Brown Sista, we once again present to you this week’s batch of random images. We will start things off with Bey and Jay who have been having a very PDA week. All these public displays of affection have apparently caught people off guard as folks are acting shocked to see two people who have been dating for five years hug and kiss each other. News Flash: After five years, I think it’s safe to assume that they have done this before. There is no need to become alarmed or call in the National Gurad.

You guys know how we do things around here. Every Friday we post a small collection of photos that crossed our desk earlier in the week but for one reason or another were not featured in any articles. This week we will start things off a little differently by taking a trip down memory lane. I’m sure you all recognize the beautiful couple in the pics below. It is none other than Usher and his then girlfriend, Rozanda Chili Thomas. They were such a cute couple and call me crazy- but doesn’t Usher’s new fiancé look like an older version of Chili?

Both Ciara and Beyonce took to the stage this weekend to perform in front of their adoring fans. Ciara headlined the HOT 97 Summer Jam Concert, while Beyonce continued to thrill crowds in the U.K with her sold out Beyonce Experience tour. First up however is Ciara performing live for the first time since the Redline premiere back in April. The sista continues to use her high school cheer leading and gymnastics background to perform some really amazing moves on stage. I can totally see Ciara in a female version of Steppin’ or Stomp The Yard. This type of movie would fit her perfectly- far more than the remake and lead role in Mama I want To Sing .
