During her set at the Screamfest 07 concert in Rosemont, Illnois, Ciara brought out R. Kelly as a special guest. The pair then proceeded to perform the 'Promise (Remix)'. I would have liked see them perform together live, as I've been feeling the remix since it came out late last year. On a side note, what the hell is Ciara wearing lol? Some five years after R. Kelly was formally charged with child abuse, a trial date has finally been set - following a hearing in Chicago today (August 1st). As ruled by Judge Vincent Gaughan, the long-awaited trial will begin on September 17th. Singer R. Kelly is set to shoot a further 10 episodes of his ‘Trapped In The Closet’ saga after signing a new deal with US cable network IFC. With its storyline twists and turns, the ‘hip-hopera’ became a major success in 2006 - spurned a 12-episode DVD. As part of the deal Kelly inked with IFC, additional episodes will be shot as well as re-airings of the original 12 episodes.  read more »
