Man, it seems like I haven't done one of these suckas in a minute. You would think I'd have all types of ideas backlogged...nope! Um, yeah. No.

Today's Five For Friday: Five Things That Are Wholly Unrelated, But I Wanted To Talk About Them. Cheah.

1) How Did You Get Here?
I think I am quietly becoming Keyshia Cole's biggest fan. I loved "I Changed My Mind" from the first album, but the follow-up singles never moved me. I despise "Let It Go" (OMFG I SWEAR THE SHIT JUST CAME ON THE RADIO WHILE I WAS TYPING THIS! OOOOOOOHHHHHHH MYYYYYY GOOOOOOD!!!! THAT'S SO WEIRD! No, really, I am not kidding. Power 105.1, 11:36PM.), but "I Remember" and "Heaven Sent" went really hard. I simply ADORE "Playa Cardz Right", despite the goofy spelling and the version with 2Pac that I refuse to listen to and will pretend does not exist. I might just go and cop that new CD.

However, someone has to be held accountable for this foolishness right here:

I'm not faulting her for the Pink Oil ad. I'm pretty sure she's the only working adult in the family, she needs to earn. But what in the Photoshop HELL happened to her right breast? Check out page 131 of the January Essence if you can't see what I'm talking about. I'm not even gonna mention the Halle Berry "Strictly Business" hairstyle on the perm box in the back. Nope.

2) Ok, So Here Is Something Related, Sorta

Speaking of scary coincidences, I was walking down the street last weekend telling a friend about the crazy man who stared me in the eye whilst "taking care himself"* on the subway. On my MAMA, the man walks by us. I know my friend thought I was lying because it was too ridiculous to be true, but it was actually him! I'm scared. This is why I need to get a ~~boyfriend~~ gun.

3)Seriously, I Don't Get It
Can someone please tell me why Jay's verse on Mya's "Best Of Me" remix is supposed to be one of the greatest Hip-Hop features ever? I just listed to it on the radio and I don't see it. Surely Jay himself has done better guest appearances. Personally, I think Mos Def and Kweli came WAY tougher on Mary J. Blige's "Beautiful" remix, but I'm pretty sure I'm alone on that train of thought.

4) Thanksgiving In Paradise
I don't know how I forgot to share this little anecdote with y'all. So on Thanksgiving day, Sister Salud, Lenzy and I piled in to a taxi. I got in the front seat and saw a copy of Diabetes Monthly on the floor. For some reason (alcohol), I blurt out "Do you have diabetes?" The driver looks at me as if to say "Bitch, I should give you an eye jammie with my insulin needle" and says "Yes". I stammer out "Uh...so does my mom." Don't ask me why I lied on my momma and not myself. Anyway, Frick and Frack are in the back seat and didn't see the magazine. They called themselves whispering and Sister Salud asks "How did she KNOW that?" Lenzy says "She's the Sugar Whisperer!"

Unsurprisingly, there was subsequent cursing and yelling that transpired between myself and the taxi driver.

5) ANSWERS PLEASE
Who the HELL is Ron Brown? Why does he exist? Does he call what he does "singing"? Why does he big up himself for not being a rapist on "We Pop Champagne"? Why does he sound soooo much like The Dream? And why won't both of them have a picnic in rush hour traffic? I'll make the sandwiches.
