The most well-kept secret in the music industry was safe until Monica’s producer Bryan Michael Cox spilled the beans during an interview with Singersroom blog (LINK).

Monica and her longtime boyfriend, Rocko, are both very private individuals. They are careful with the information they do choose to share with their fans.

But B. Cox let the cat out of the bag when he revealed that the parents of Lil Rocko and Melo have recently tied the knot!

Monica herself indicated they were married in an interview earlier this year.

So now that the secret is out, will you cut the happy couple some slack or will you find another reason to hate?

Singersroom: Back in the day Brandy and Monica were sort of the touted R&B/Pop queens, much like you have let’s say Rihanna and Beyonce today. Working with Monica, who now has children and a family life, was the experience of producing for her new album a challenge?

Bryan Michael Cox: Monica, she’s a mother, a wife and all of that right now and she’s a young woman. She was really open. She didn’t want to make a “Oh I’m married and I have to do this” type of album. She still wanted to make a young and fly album. (Source)
