Lil Kim, Cyndi Lauper, Alicia Keys, Will.i.am and Others Attend/Perform at Mandela Day 46664 Celebration Concert + Video of Kim
In a move that surprised damn near everyone, Lil Kim and Cyndi Lauper performed “Time After Time” on stage together Saturday night (Jul 18) at the Mandela Day 46664 Celebration Concert … and Lil Kim sang! Albeit, Kim didn’t do very well with her vocals but we give her credit for being bold enough to do something like that in front of so many people. With a little more confidence and some vocal training, homegirl might be able to carry a little tune!
Alicia Keys, Will.i.am, Aretha Franklin and more also helped Nelson Mandela celebrate his 91st birthday at the annual 46664 event, which was held this year at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall. Continue reading for more pics and for the video of Kim performing.
