Lady Gaga performs at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards

Here are some pictures featuring performances from pop singer Lady Gaga, singer/songwriter Pink and young country music sensation Taylor Swift.

Gaga performed her hit single, “Paparazzi” and left everyone thinking “what the hell…?” after her performance ended with her hanging above the stage with blood all over her body.

Pink took to the stage with “Sober,” a song from her most recent album, Funhouse. She performed her entire set (live) in the air with a trapeze artist. Dope!

Taylor started her performance of “You Belong with Me” underground in an NYC subway terminal before making her way to the streets of Manhattan, where she ended her set on top of a taxi cab.
