Yesterday two major films for the Denzel Washington-drama "The Great Debaters" and Will Smith's "I Am Legend" had its movie premieres on both coasts of the United States. "I Am Legend" kick off in New York with celebrity power like Salli Richardson, Tom Cruise, Jada Pinkett Smith (in Versace), CoCo and Ice T, Tyrese, Sandra "Pepa" Denton, Mary J Blige, Willow and Jaden Smith in attendance.

The Los Angeles premiere of "The Great Debaters" bought out Oprah Winfrey (who is the film's producer), Samuel L. Jackson and his wife LaTanya Richardson, Denzel's wife Paulette, Kimberly Elise, and the film's young talent, Jurnee Smollett.
