Heavy D - “Big Daddy”

HAHAHA, I was watching “Planet Groove” on BET J and this video came on. My God, I haven’t heard a Heavy D song in years! YEARS! The original wonk-eyed rapper LOL.

This song was the jam though….”driving in your caddy, you can be my big daddy…”

I was always amazed with Heav cause this dude danced, had video hoes, all kinds of typically “skinny man” things. You couldn’t tell Heav he couldn’t not do anything, and I always respected that. I remember finding out that it was him (Heavy D & The Boyz) who did the theme song to “In Living Color”. I just thought that was the dopest thing ever.

Anyway, he became quite the thespian, but I hear he’s supposedly releasing a new album…but that was last year. A few random songs leaked, but nothing ever stuck.
